Version 29.0.0 of hsbView
With version 29, hsbView introduces several major improvements focused on usability, visualization, and control, enabling a more efficient and intuitive workflow on the shop floor. To make it easy to explore what’s new, we’ve created a dedicated walkthrough video that takes you feature by feature, clearly demonstrating each enhancement and showing exactly how it improves your day-to-day operations.
View Editor
What it does:
With this update, hsbView introduces a powerful new shop drawing editor that brings configuration directly into the application. With this, shop drawing setups can be created, customized, and managed without external support. A guided and intuitive interface simplifies the process, while advanced settings remain easily accessible. With this, setup becomes faster, onboarding smoother, and control over shop drawings significantly improved.

Value:
- Enables independent creation and management of shop drawing configurations
- Reduces setup time through a guided and intuitive workflow
- Increases flexibility to adapt shop drawings to project-specific requirements
Visualization Updates
What it does:
With this update, hsbView 29 enhances the visualization of design data on the shop floor. With this, a refreshed user interface and extended visualization capabilities provide clearer insights into the model. Key components such as wall icons, metal parts, and fastener assemblies are now displayed directly within elements. These detailed and dimensioned representations are generated directly from the CAD design model, resulting in a more complete and reliable view of assembly details.
Value:
- Provides direct visibility of wall icons, metal parts, and fasteners within elements
- Improves accuracy with dimensioned components linked to the material list
- Reduces manual effort and errors by using data directly from the CAD model

Enhancements in Solid 3D Render
What it does:
With this update, the Element View introduces improved solid 3D behavior. With this, geometry is displayed more accurately using parallel projection, and the view starts by default in an isometric perspective. View changes are handled more consistently, and items selected in the material list are highlighted directly in the 3D view. The system also remembers view adjustments when switching between tabs.

Value:
- Strengthens the link between 3D geometry and the material list for faster verification
- Improves understanding of shop drawings and material usage
- Enables more efficient navigation and validation of production data
Enhancements in 3D Viewer
What it does:
With this update, the 3D Viewer has been improved to provide a more consistent and user-friendly experience. With this, the viewer now uses parallel projection instead of perspective, starts in an isometric view by default, and reliably applies view changes when switching between perspectives. View settings are also retained when navigating between tabs.

Value:
- Provides more accurate and consistent visualization through parallel projection
- Improves orientation with a clear and reliable default view
- Ensures smoother and more predictable interaction when switching views
