Before you can download the setup file you will need to create an account at www.myhsbcad.com.
After you have created your myhsbcad.com credentials, you can download the hsbDesign27 / 28 setup file in myhsbcad downloads.

Step 1: Navigate to

If you have an existing hsbDesign for Revit installation, navigate to:
C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\ApplicationPlugins\

Step 2: Rename

Rename the folder hsbOnRevit.bundle to something like hsbOnRevit.bundle.27 (to preserve V27).

Step 3: Run installer

Run the installer for V28. This ensures that the previous installation of hsbDesign is not overwritten.

Step 4: To switch between versions

• Rename hsbOnRevit.bundle.27 back to hsbOnRevit.bundle when you want to use V27.
• Keep hsbOnRevit.bundle as the active version, since Revit will always load the folder with that name.

How to use hsbDesign27 and hsbDesign28 for Revit on one computer at the same time

Take into account that hsbDesign28 is considered the primary product and hsbDesign27 is considered the secondary product.

Step 1: Install hsbDesign27 and hsbDesign28

Follow the procedure to install hsbDesign27 and hsbDesign28

Step 2: Set hsbDesign27 as secondary product

Rename the folder hsbOnRevit.bundle.27 to hsbOnRevit.27.bunde.

After this, the folder hsbOnRevit.27.bundle does not need to be renamed at least you need to update it.

2.1 Before you update hsbDesign27, you need to rename the hsbDesign28 folder temporally as hsbOnRevit.28.bundle and hsbDesign27 folder as hsbOnRevit.bundle.

2.2 After you update hsbDesign27, you need to revert the folder names of hsbDesign28 and hsbDesign27 to the original names.
